Bio: Shortly after retiring from GE after 37 years, Jack and his wife Joyce moved to Hilton Head in 2002 from the cold and snowy Albany, Schenectady, and Troy tri-city area of upstate New York. The HHICC immediately attracted Jack’s interest and attention, he was recruited to become web master and has recently served as President. He volunteers around the island, and has a passion to “take better pictures to share with family and friends!”

One of the frustrating aspects of Vista is the size of the text, some of us older folks need a magnifying glass to read the text.

The good news is there is an easy fix.

1. Right click on an empty portion of your Vista desktop, and then left click on Personalize.

2. When the new Personalization Window appears, select Adjust font size (dpi)

3. When the DPI Scaling Window appears, select Larger scale (120 dpi), click Apply, click OK, and restart your machine.

IT IS THAT EASY, GOOD LUCK!
